Sunshine after the Rain

Hi Color Kids,

So much has happened. So wonderful and I feel truly lucky the past month.

1: There was an announcement of a Rainbow Brite celebration in Hallmark's headquarters in Kansas City MO. I took the time to go to this celebration to represent the fans, as well as meet new fans.
Katy of RainbowBrite.Net also came and we shared our cheer with others online on behalf of ourselves as well as "BriteCast".

2: We were able to meet the current creators of the new Rainbow Brite products, as well as see the Hallmark Archives where we learned even more secrets about the creation of her that we will be sharing as we can.

3: [Personal] I got a 3rd opinion on my back and had surgery to assist in helping it. I'm currently in recovery and hope to be able to come back to work soon. I've been spending the past 2 weeks in recovery so I haven't said anything about it, but now that the pain in lessening, I feel inspired to share what I can with fans, so hopefully you will see much more coming from www.rainbowbrite.co.

Until then,
I'm still resting but hope to have more for you soon.

Have a Rainbow Day!

The Rainbow Inside

Rainbow Brite and Me
Greetings Rainbow Brite fan's.
My name is Renee' Stowe and I am one of the admins and friends of the Rainbow Brite.Co.Uk Fan Community. I mostly maintain the United States based Rainbow Brite information and collectibles for the website as well as help with promotions.

So, where will  you have noticed me recently? August of 2012 I was able to meet one of the Rainbow Brite voice cast members: Bettina Bush.

Bettina was in Orlando Florida at a function and I was lucky enough to get a few minutes with her to say hello, share the appreciation of the Rainbow Brite fandom and get some nice things to give away to fans! That means YOU!

You all can look forward to seeing some CD Singles as well as a signed "Rainbow Brite" Mini Backpack being given away very soon!

All items will be given away for free, but to get them you have to make sure to follow the Rainbow Brite.co.uk community! We have a Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channel!

The current promotion on the website is a Twink mini backpack give away which still has a few weeks left, so if you haven't joined in the fun, run over to the Facebook page for details!

As for myself, I'm going to be starting up a Rainbow Brite blog here and posting reviews and comments that may help you on the website.

I really look forward to sharing the Rainbow with you and hopefully we can be friends!

NOTICE: Blog Format Change

Fans:
Many years ago this blog was started to provide information to fans who wanted to stay informed on updates and changes to the Rainbow Brite.Co.Uk website as well as a few articles written to share information.

This format was hard to maintain and got nearly forgotten for a very long time. Yet, we know we needed a blog. A place to quip and discuss topics that are Rainbow Brite related from a fan. Renee', a Rainbow Brite fan, music lover and friend is going to try to fill that role. Blog reigns are now going to be handed over to her.

Like with the website and here we hope that fans enjoy the information provided but we hope you also respect the persons involved and their privacy.

We request that you respect all fans and not post comments about personal or private issues not related to Rainbow Brite or the blog posts. (No Spam!)

Enjoy the blog! Enjoy the information, images, and share the Rainbow.

Find a Rainbow Day

I'm not sure what it is,or how much study has gone in to the fact that colors make a person happy. There is something about seeing a rainbow that makes a person smile, and the way things are today, it's harder then ever to keep a smile.

April 3rd is National “Find a Rainbow Day”, but considering Easter weekend, and so much beyond that, our site has decided to make everyday, a “Find a Rainbow Day”. It is too important a quest to leave it to a single day. So often in our lives we forget to look up, look around or even make our own rainbows.

We need a reminder everyday that life is good, so keep an eye out for a rainbow...and if the sky is grey, the future cloudy, make one

Dress as a rainbow:
red hat, scarf, or ribbon on your head or neck
Orange and yellow shirt, jacket or gloves,
green belt, sash, or shorts
blue jeans, socks or shoes.

Organize your desk as a rainbow
Arrange your desk notes by colour
link your coloured paper clips like a rainbow,
put a rainbow wall paper on your computer desktop

Make your snack something colourful!
Dried cherries, raisins, banana chips, oranges or apricot pieces with nuts!

You can find a rainbow everywhere!
Where do you find yours?
Share the rainbow, send us your fun ideas and ways you make a rainbow everyday!
We would love to share them with others!

Have a Rainbow Day!

Share the Rainbow: MomTalkRadio

Diana Stuart is Creative VP at Hallmark Properties, and she is helping bring Rainbow Brite back onto your children's toy closets with an exciting new makeover, and all new adventures. She has interviewed with Maria Bailey to bring more information to fans and moms about Rainbow Brite. If you don't have MomTalkRadio in your area, you can listen on like at www.momtalkradio.com! Hallmark is moving forward with the line and we hope to see more soon! If you have a chance please go to the site, listen and leave us your feedback about what you think.

Are you a mom who sharing Rainbow with your little one? Or ar you a friend helping share her with others? We have received a new "Share the Rainbow" Note from a Rainbow Brite Fan and how she learned about Rainbow Brite:

"How I got introduced to Rainbow Brite is simple. There was a video that I watched over and over again by Rainbow Brite and it was a birthday video (never released to the general public to buy, but only to rent) so since it was near my birthday and my mom knew that I LOVED watching Rainbow's videos...my mom told my nana (now deceased) that I was into Rainbow Brite.

So my Grandmother went around to different stores trying to find this one VHS (the birthday one I watched every day) when I was about six years old and couldn't find it so instead she bought me the famous one instead "Rainbow Brite and Star Stealer", I am now 22 and still watch it a lot since it came from someone who I was Really close to when younger and it truly brings me back. Every song that comes on, and every line that they say...I know by heart. It's kinda cool...it was like Rainbow was my best friend growing up. :)

To this day I still look to rainbows in the sky like I did when I was a child and think back to the days that I used to sit there and think she'd appear to take the gloomy days away and put color back into them...and Now that I know I can get it on DVD... when I have children of my own I will pass down the brightness of the Rainbow to my children as well.

She was amazing...and I would rather have my kids watch her over half the shows we have on TV now. Bring her back to TV either Cartoon Network or Nick JR.
"
